Wonderful Holiday! (part 1) 11:17 AM Monday, November 24, 2008
K' I'am back.

From where?

Holiday lor. heehee =D

I went to Genting on Monday by bus (DUH) not not on Singapore Registered ones. Crossed customs only after 12, and Reached JB around 1 pm, due to the heavy rain. Wah, rain, rain, rain until the customs there flooded (JB) . Had to tread water in order to get to the bus.
Top: Leaving the Flooded Customs =( (At least my bag was not wet)

Top: Took a Causeway Link bus to Larkin Terminal
Ok, The bus stopped at Kotaraya station bef. reaching Larkin. Upon the disembarkment of the bus, an immediate stench hit my nose. Where did it come from? It came from the refuse centre opposite....

We bought 6 tickets on the 2'oclock bus to K.L, leaving in abt 5 mins time. Hell lot of rush. Then, after settling our lugguge in the luggage hold, we went to buy some confections from the in-house confectionary. OMG the Chix. Pie WAS NOT AT ALL CHIX BUT POTATO! AND THE
TASTE SUCKED! Don't buy bread from there! Total ripoff.
Took an ORANGE Transtar Bus, complete w/leather seats, akin to business class but w/o the tv.
Yawn, had to wait until 2.30 before leaving as some late GOONS took their own sweet time....
Top: Leaving Larkin
Next: Set for 2 straight hours, staring at kampongs, palm tree plantations and pondering abt the formula speed = dist./time, I finally reached the only rest stop, and saw this hse opp.
Went To buy 2 books of Old Master Q comics and a pack of chewing gum. Read, Read and watched for another 3 hrs bef. reaching KL. How did I know? Well, simple.
By Looking At the Menara Tower! (hahahahahaha) I know its a no-brainer, but, look, at least there's some city structures after that treacherous journey that threatened to make me paralysed waist down.
Top: Me! (forgive the yellow teeth)
Top: Mountain View Anyone?
Top: Snoozing Panda bear ( sooo cute!)
Top: Shaky View of Petronas Towers.
Got down At Puduraya Station in KL. Woots. Went to the toilet, only to see it in ruins. SIGH.
Took the lift to the second level, and took a taxi to Genting Highlands, costing RM60 per cab. Mine was an F1 cab, zooming and cutting the long lanes of cars and zooming up the steep mountainous roads leading to the resort. Wah, go up mountain, rain, rain, rain. So BORING.
Top: Approaching the Resort ( Can you see the signature neon red Genting Sign?)
Part 2 continued later....
